Cancellation Policy

As Anokhi Reet operates purely as a peer-to-peer connecting platform:

• Anokhi Reet does not process payments, deposits, or booking fees.
• Anokhi Reet does not process refunds or mandate cancellation penalties.
• All cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling are private matters to be resolved directly between the Outfit Owner and the Renter.

If you need to cancel a booking:

• Communicate Early: Inform the Outfit Owner as soon as possible via the Anokhi Reet in-app chat.
• Respect Terms: Acknowledge and respect any personal cancellation terms the Owner communicated to you before the booking was finalized.
• Refunds: Since payments are handled off-platform (directly between users), any deposit refunds must be requested directly from the Owner.

When handling cancellations for your listed outfits:

• Set Clear Terms: Clearly communicate your personal cancellation and deposit refund rules to the Renter in the chat before accepting a booking.
• Be Reasonable: Understand that emergencies happen. We encourage the Anokhi Reet community to be flexible and empathetic when resolving cancellations.
• Owner Cancellations: If you must cancel an accepted booking, inform the Renter immediately so they have time to find a replacement outfit. Promptly return any advance payments or deposits you collected.

Anokhi Reet is not responsible for mediating disputes over cancellations, unreturned deposits, or last-minute dropouts. However, users who consistently cancel bookings at the last minute or fail to return deposits may be reported by other users. Anokhi Reet reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that repeatedly violate community trust.
